The Young Knives
Young Knives are an English indie rock band formed in Ashby-de-la-Zouch,
Leicestershire, in the mid-1990s. Known for their quirky sound that blends
post-punk revival with new wave and art rock influences, the band features
brothers Henry Dartnall (vocals/guitar) and Thomas Bonsu-Dartnall (bass/guitar)
Dartnall, along with drummer Oliver Askew (who left in 2015). After starting out
with several other names (including Simple Pastoral Existence, which featured
guitarist Alex Gasson), they first garnered attention in 2002 with their
