Formed in 2003 while attending the Liverpool School of Performing Arts, The Wombats are a British indie-rock band comprising Matthew Murphy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Tord Øverland Knudsen (bass guitar, guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), and Dan Haggis (drums, backing vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, mouth organ), whose sound makes room for pop melodies and dance tempos.
