The Rockin' Berries, a beat group from Birmingham, England, were formed in the
late 1950s by guitarist Bryan "Chuck" Botfield. The band initially played
several Chuck Berry songs and early on featured keyboard player Christine
Perfect, later known as Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac fame. By mid-1961, the
lineup comprised Chuck Botfield on lead guitar, Doug Thompson on rhythm guitar,
Tim Munns on bass, Dennis Ryland on saxophone, Terry Bond on drums, and singers
