The Rattles, a German rock band, were formed in Hamburg on December 1960 by
Achim Reichel and Herbert Hildebrandt. The group gained early recognition after
winning a competition at the Star-Club in February 1963, leading to their first
engagement there. Their debut single was released later that year, followed by a
six-week tour of England with notable acts such as Bo Diddley and Little
Richard. In June 1966, The Rattles performed alongside The Beatles during the
Bravo-Beatles-Blitztournee, which included stops in Munich, Essen, and Hamburg.
