The Other Ones were a pop-rock band formed in Berlin, Germany, in 1984. The
group comprised Australian-born siblings Alf Klimek (lead vocals), Jayney Klimek
(lead vocals), and Johnny Klimek (bass guitar), along with German members
Stephan Gottwald (keyboards), Andreas Schwarz-Ruszczynski (guitars), and Uwe
Hoffmann (drums). They signed to Virgin Records in 1984 and released their
self-titled debut album in late 1986. Produced by Christopher Neil, the album
peaked at number 55 on the German Albums Chart. Notable singles from this period
