Although they didn't invent ambient - Brian Eno had already done that - The Orb
turned it into a mainstream genre, taking advantage of the electro explosion of
the early 1990s. More than a real band, The Orb is the entity created by Alex
Paterson in 1988. Since 1991's groundbreaking The Orb's Adventure Beyond the
Ultraworld, The Orb has varied in its configuration, but not in the excellence
