The Nude Party
Austin Brose, Alec Castillo, Shaun Couture, Patton Magee, Don Merrill, and Conor
Mikita formed The Nude Party as college students at Appalachian State University
in 2012. Based in Boone, North Carolina, the band performed locally for several
years before graduating and releasing a debut EP, Hot Tub, in 2016. Oakley
Munson, drummer for the Black Lips, produced the EP and reprised that role
several years later for The Nude Party's debut album. Recorded after the group
signed with New West Records, the self-titled album was released in July 2018.
