Initially formed by singer and guitarist Lia Metcalfe – daughter of Sound of
Guns' lead singer Andrew Metcalfe – bassist George Favager, and drummer Zak
McDonnell, British alt-rockers The Mysterines assembled in Liverpool, UK in 2014
and looked to the likes of Nirvana, Hole, and Royal Blood for inspiration. A
line-up change saw Zak McDonnell swapped for Chrissy Moore the following year
and the band unleashed their debut EP, Take Control, in 2019. A second EP,
