The Halos
The Halos were a US-based doo-wop vocal quartet active in the early 1960s.
Originally formed as a backing group for various solo artists, The Halos
provided vocals for notable performers such as Tommy Hunt, Bobby Vinton, Johnny
Nash, Little Eva, Johnny Mathis, Dion, The Coasters, Connie Francis, Brian
Hyland, and Ben E. King. Their work included background vocals on Curtis Lee's
"Pretty Little Angel Eyes" and other hits like Barry Mann's "Who Put The Bomp",
Gene Pitney's "Every Breath I Take", and Ben E. King's "My Heart Cries For You".
