The Fourmost, a British Merseybeat band, formed in Liverpool, England. The group
was founded by guitarist/vocalist Brian O'Hara and Joey Bower in 1957 as the Two
Jays. They changed their name to the Fourmost in October 1962 after several
lineup changes and their breakthrough came when they signed a management
contract with Brian Epstein on June 30, 1963, leading to an audition by George
Martin and subsequent signing to EMI's Parlophone record label. The Fourmost
released their first single "Hello Little Girl" written by John Lennon in August
1963, which reached number 9 in the UK...
