The Del-Vikings
The Del-Vikings, also known as The Dell-Vikings, was an American doo-wop group
formed in 1956 by Clarence Quick and other members of the US Air Force stationed
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The original lineup included Clarence Quick,
Corinthian "Kripp" Johnson, Samuel Patterson, Bernard Robertson, and Don
Jackson. Their breakthrough came after winning a talent show in New York,
leading to their first recordings with Fee Bee Records. In 1957, they released
the single "Come Go With Me", which reached number 5 on the Billboard Top 100
charts and number 2 on the Rhythm-and-Blues char...
