The Dead Milkmen, an American satirical punk rock band from Philadelphia, were
formed in 1983 by Joe Genaro, Rodney Linderman, Dean Sabatino, and Dave
Schulthise. Their debut album Big Lizard In My Backyard (1985) featured notable
tracks like "Bitchin’ Camaro". The band achieved their greatest commercial
success with Beelzebubba (1988), which peaked at Number 101 on the Billboard 200
and included the hit single "Punk Rock Girl". Following a hiatus from 1995 to
2008, during which Schulthise passed away in 2004, The Dead Milkmen reunited and
continued releasing new music.
