Canadian alternative rock band The Darcys formed in 2005 in Halifax, Nova
Scotia, before moving to Toronto. Initiated by songwriters Jason Couse and Wes
Marskell, the band takes its name from the surnames of characters in Jane
Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. Evolving as a quartet on the release of
debut album Endless Water (2007), then as a quintet on The Darcys (2011), the
band covered Steely Dan's album Aja in its entirety in an alternative format in
