The Aquabats
The Aquabats! is an American rock band formed in Huntington Beach, California,
in 1994. The group was founded by Christian Jacobs, Chad Larson, and Boyd Terry
as a comedy rock band to satirize the Orange County punk scene. They played
their first show at a house party in August 1994 and quickly gained local
popularity. Their album, The Fury of the Aquabats!, was released in 1997 and
charted on the Billboard 200 at number 172. The band continued to evolve
