The A.M. was an American rock band from New York City, formed in 2002 by Michael
Tighe, a rock musician formerly of the Jeff Buckley Band. The group also
included bassist Andrew Wyatt and drummer Parker Kindred. Influenced by a range
of artists from 1970s glam rock to Joy Division and The Smiths, the band's sound
drew comparisons to Suede, David Bowie, King Crimson, Roxy Music, and T.Rex. In
2003, the band released their debut album The A.M. on Storm Music. They toured
