The Aggrovators

The Aggrovators were a Jamaican dub and reggae backing band active in the 1970s and 1980s. The group was one of the main session bands for producer Bunny Lee and featured a rotating lineup that included notable musicians such as Jackie Mittoo, Sly and Robbie, Tommy McCook, and Aston Barrett. The band's name originated from Lee's record shop, Agro Sounds. Their early work included instrumental B-sides on Lee's single releases, often mixed by King Tubby.
