The 101'ers
The 101'ers, a pub rock band from England, formed in London in May 1974. The
group initially performed under various names before settling on the 101'ers,
derived from their squat at 101 Walterton Road, Maida Vale. Their debut
performance occurred on September 7, 1974, at the Telegraph pub in Brixton. In
April 1976, they were supported by the Sex Pistols at the Nashville Room,
marking a pivotal moment for Joe Strummer, who left the 101'ers to join The
Clash shortly thereafter. Their debut single "Keys to Your Heart" was released
