Terry Draper
Terry Edward Draper, born on September 22, 1951, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada,
was a Canadian drummer, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. He first
emerged in the early 1970s with the progressive rock group Klaatu, where he
co-wrote the track "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft", which became a
Top-40 hit for the Carpenters in 1977. After Klaatu disbanded in 1981, Draper
released solo projects, beginning with the album Light Years Later (1997) and
followed by Terrytoons Presents: Can You Pretend? (1999), Civil War (And Other
