Of the new French rock landscape that emerged at the end of the 1970s, after the
punk wave, Téléphone was the band that enjoyed the greatest success and public
favor during its short existence. Between 1977 and 1986, Jean-Louis Aubert,
Louis Bertignac, Corine Marienneau and Richard Kolinka had the time to record
five albums that remain etched in stone, many unifying tracks, and set the
crowds ablaze in their wake. From Téléphone's first amateur album (Anna),
