Born on September 22, 1959 in Ibaraki Prefecture, Tatuya Ishii is a Japanese
singer-songwriter, artist, and industrial designer who first rose to fame as the
vocalist of pop-rock bigwigs Kome Kome CLUB who enjoyed commercial success
during the early to mid-'90s. He kicked off his solo career following the demise
of the band in 1997, releasing his first single "White Moon in the Blue Sky"
