Tata Young
Amita Marie "Tata" Young, born December 14, 1980, in Bangkok, Thailand, is a
Thai pop singer whose career began after winning the Nissan Awards Thailand
Junior Singing Contest at the age of 11. She released her debut album, Amita
Tata Young, in 1995 and went on to become one of Thailand's best-known recording
artists. Young has released nine studio albums, including six in Thai and three
in English, expanding her popularity across Southeast Asia and other parts of
Asia during the 2000s. She performed "Reach for the Stars" at the opening
