Tasha Viets‑VanLear, mostly known as Tasha, was born on August 26 1993 in
Chicago, Illinois, and is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Raised in
the Albany Park neighborhood, she developed an early love for theater and poetry
while attending Northside College Preparatory High School and later St. Olaf
College; after returning to Chicago she worked with Black Youth Project 100.
Tasha Viets‑VanLear debuted with the EP Divine Love in 2016, which addressed
