Tamar Halperin, born in 1976 in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a harpsichordist, pianist,
and musicologist. She studied at the University of Tel Aviv and Schola Cantorum
Basiliensis, and earned a doctorate from Juilliard with a thesis on Johann
Sebastian Bach. Her album Satie was released in 2016, featuring reimagined piano
pieces by Erik Satie. In 2017, she collaborated with violinist Etienne Abelin
and audio designer Tomek Kolczyński for the fusion album BachSpace. Her notable
