Talisman is a Swedish hard rock band formed in 1989 by bassist Marcel Jacob and
fronted by American singer Jeff Scott Soto. Their debut album Talisman (1990)
was released on the Airplay/Vinyl Mania label, featuring the single "I'll Be
Waiting" (1990), which reached number 2 on the Swedish singles chart. Their
lineup included Jason Bieler on guitar, Jakob "Jake Samuel" Samuelsson on drums,
and Thomas Vikström on keyboards and backing vocals. They released Genesis
