Tait, a Christian rock group from the United States, was formed in 2001 by
Michael Tait. The band consisted of Michael Tait on vocals and piano, Evan
Wetherford on guitar, Jordan Hester on bass, and Chad Chapin on drums. In 2001,
the group released their debut album Empty, which topped the Contemporary
Christian Charts. Notable tracks included "Spy" and "American Tragedy". In 2003,
following Pete Stewart's departure and Justin York's addition on guitar, Tait
released their second album Lose This Life. The group disbanded in 2007 after
