Taco
Dutch musician and actor Taco Ockerse, known simply as Taco, was born on 21 July
1955 in Jakarta, Indonesia. He started his career in Germany, signing his first
record contract with Polydor in West Germany in 1982 and releasing his debut
single "Puttin' On the Ritz", which became a global hit. The song was issued by
RCA Records for US release and peaked at number four on the Hot 100 in September
1983, earning him a Gold certification for selling over one million copies. His
