Syntec, a German electronic music band founded in 1992, consisted of Tobias
Hartwig on vocals and lyrics, Uwe Kallenbach handling music, synthesizers, and
programming, and Jens Meyer on keyboards. Syntec gained early recognition for
their fusion of synthpop and electronic body music. Their debut album, The Total
Immersion, was released in 1994, followed by Upper World in 1995. After a
period of inactivity, Syntec returned in 2016 with the album The Beginning
through Infacted recordings and the maxi-single "Catch My Fall" with Blind
Passenger.
