Sweet Honey in the Rock
Sweet Honey in the Rock, an all-woman African-American a cappella ensemble, was
founded in 1973 by Bernice Johnson Reagon during a vocal workshop. The group
initially consisted of four women: Reagon, Louise Robinson, Carol Lynn Maillard,
and Mie Fredericks. Over the decades, Sweet Honey in the Rock has released
several notable albums, including Feel Something Drawing Me On (1985), Live At
Carnegie Hall (1988), Twenty Five (1998), and #LoveInEvolution (2016). The
