Svinkels
With a name inspired by a brand of beer, Nikus Pokus, Gérard Baste and Mr Xavier
form arguably the most unlikely trio in French rap. Since 1997, Les Svinkels
have been dragging their bawdy punk spirit in a rap body across numerous stages
in a style that blends humor and inventiveness. After two albums and a five-year
hiatus, the three MCs returned to the studio to release Dirty Centre in 2008.
