Susan Jane "Suzie" McNeil, born on October 15, 1976, in Mississauga, Ontario, is
a Canadian pop rock singer and songwriter. She began her career as a backing
vocalist for various artists before gaining attention as a contestant on Rock
Star: INXS in 2005. McNeil released her debut album, Broken & Beautiful, in
April 2007, which included the single "Believe" that was re-recorded with the
National Arts Centre Orchestra and served as the official anthem for Canada's
