Sugarcult is an American punk-pop group formed in Santa Barbara, California in
1998, fronted by Tim Pagnotta on lead vocals and rhythm guitar. The band’s early
line-up included Airin Older on bass, Marko DeSantis on lead guitar, and Ben
Davis on drums, with Kenny Livingston replacing Davis in 2003. The group
released demo collections Eleven (1999) and Wrap Me Up in Plastic (2000) before
issuing their debut studio album Start Static on 21 August 2001 through
