Straatligkinders
Straatligkinders, an Afrikaans Christian rock band from Potchefstroom, South
Africa, was formed in August 2006 by lead singer Bouwer Bosch, guitarist
Benjamin de Jager, bassist Hein Kruger, and drummer Ruan Kruger. Their initial
breakthrough came with the release of four songs and a music video for "Die
Beskermer" in December 2006. The band's first full-length album, Bloeisels, was
released in 2007 and featured the hit single "Gedagte vir die dag", which spent
five weeks at Number 1 on the MK Top 10. Straatligkinders continued to gain
recognition with albums like Konings Met Vers...
