Storyville
Storyville was an American blues-rock band formed in 1993 in Austin, Texas. The
group consisted of drummer Chris Layton and bassist Tommy Shannon, both former
members of Arc Angels and the rhythm section for Stevie Ray Vaughan's band
Double Trouble, along with Craig Ross, David Lee Holt, and David Grissom. After
a jam session at Antone's, they released their debut album Bluest Eyes on
November Records in 1993. The following year, Malford Milligan replaced Ross as
lead vocalist. They won nine Austin Music Awards and signed with Atlantic
