Steve Von Till
Stephen Francis Von Till Jr., born September 30, 1969, is an American musician
and educator best known as a guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the metal band
Neurosis, which he joined in 1989. With Neurosis, he contributed to albums
including The Word as Law (1990), Souls at Zero (1992), Through Silver in Blood
(1996), and Honor Found in Decay (2012). Von Till also co-founded the ambient
ensemble Tribes of Neurot, recorded solo albums under his own name—such as As
the Crow Flies (2000), A Grave Is a Grim Horse (2008), A Life Unto Itself
