Steam Down is a UK collective based in south-east London, founded in May 2017 by
multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Ahnansé (born Wayne Francis). The
project formed to create a network of London musicians and producers quickly
evolved into a dynamic musical platform involving a galaxy of artists. Steam
Down's music blends jazz, hip-hop, R&B and electronic elements, offering an
eclectic and innovative sonic experience. The collective regularly performs at
festivals such as Glastonbury, and has won awards including the Jazz FM
