Anna Constantina Krogste Banford, known as Star Anna, is an American singer born
in 1986 and from Ellensburg, Washington. She began her musical journey at age 11
playing drums and later transitioned to guitar and songwriting. Her early career
saw her performing with the punk rock band No Continuous Standing during high
school. Star Anna's breakthrough came with the release of The Only Thing That
Matters (2009). Star Anna notably collaborated with the Seattle Symphony
Orchestra in 2012, performing two of her songs arranged by Scott Teske.
