Stana Izbaşa, born on February 5, 1969, in Cornea, Caraș-Severin County, is a
Romanian folk and party singer. She began her career by singing traditional
Romanian folkloric songs, particularly from the Banat region. Her breakthrough
came with the shift towards the manele genre, which dominated the Romanian music
market. Izbaşa's repertoire includes notable duets with artists such as Adrian
Minune and Nicu Paleru. One of her most recognized collaborations was with
Adrian Minune on a remake of "Čik, pogodi", originally performed by Lepa Brena,
a prominent figure from ex-Yugoslavia....
