Spear of Destiny is a British post-punk rock band formed in 1982 by Kirk Brandon
(vocals, guitar), after the breakup of Theatre of Hate. Known for their powerful
blend of punk, gothic rock, soul and epic influences, Spear of Destiny made
their mark in the 1980s with dramatic energy and intense stage performances,
driven by Brandon's fervent vocals. The band first came to prominence with the
album Grapes of Wrath (1983), quickly followed by One Eyed Jacks (1984) and
