Soziedad Alkoholika is a Spanish crossover thrash ensemble formed in 1988 in
Vitoria-Gasteiz. The group consisted of Juan, Jimmy, Óskar, Roberto, and Iñaki.
Originally named Amonal, the band released its first demo, Intoxikazión etílika,
in 1990. Its eponymous debut studio recording, often referred to as the "black
album," appeared in 1991. The ensemble's discography included Ratas (1995),
which received a gold record for selling more than 50,000 copies in Spain. The
