Soul Assassins
Soul Assassins is an American hardcore hip hop project founded by Cypress Hill
member and producer DJ Muggs in 1992. The project released its debut album, The
Soul Assassins Chapter I, in 1997. Each album features a diverse lineup of guest
rappers and is primarily produced by DJ Muggs, with contributions from other
producers such as The Alchemist and DJ Khalil on later releases. In addition to
their musical output, Soul Assassins is also recognized for its visual branding,
created in collaboration with Chicano artists Estevan Oriol and Mister Cartoon.
