Soraya Oliveira Rodrigues Moraes, widely known as Soraya Moraes, is a Brazilian gospel singer-songwriter, pastor, and author born on January 29, 1973, in São Paulo. Her musical journey began with the Protestant rock band Metanoya, recording the album Guerra in 1992. From 1994 to 1999, she was an integral part of the band Renascer Praise, gaining nationwide fame in the evangelical community thanks to their rendition of the song "Deus é Fiel."
