SONIC BOOM
Peter Kember, known by his stage name Sonic Boom, was born on November 19, 1965.
He initially came to prominence as a member of the neo-psychedelic band Spacemen
3, which he co-founded in 1982 and remained active until the band's dissolution
in 1991. Pete Kember's first solo album, Spectrum, was recorded in 1989 while
still part of Spacemen 3. He continued to lead musical projects Spectrum and
E.A.R. (Experimental Audio Research), often as a sole artist or with
collaborators like Kevin Shields and Delia Derbyshire. Notable releases under
