Sondé
Sonde is a Canadian experimental musical group from Montreal that was founded in
1975. Originally named MuD, the ensemble emerged from a course taught by Mario
Bertoncini at McGill University. Their first performance took place in 1975 at
Pollack Hall, featuring innovative sound sources. Sonde's approach centered on
the concept of a "sound source," where both the composition and the object
