Son of The Velvet Rat
Son of the Velvet Rat, an Austrian folk rock band, was founded in 2003 by
songwriter Georg Altziebler and organist Heike Binder. They began their career
with releases such as Spare Some Sugar [For the Rat] (2003) and By My Side
(2003). In 2006, they signed with Vienna indie label Monkey and released
Playground. The band's subsequent albums include Loss & Love (2007), featuring
the hit single "Fall With Me" which reached number 3 on the FM4 charts and
