Snowboy
Mark Cotgrove, known professionally as Snowboy, born July 3, 1961, in England,
is an English percussionist, DJ, and music journalist. He began DJing at the age
of 17 and became a resident at the club The Goldmine, where he performed Latin
fusion and taught himself congas. He later studied percussion under Robin Jones,
who introduced him to the professional scene. Cotgrove adopted his stage name
from a character he played in amateur theatre. He released his debut single,
“Bring On The Beat” (1985), which featured the B-side “When Snowboy's Rocking
