Snot
Snot is an American funk metal, nu metal, and hardcore punk band from Santa
Barbara, California, formed in 1995 by vocalist Lynn Strait and lead guitarist
Mikey Doling. The group's debut studio album, Get Some, was released on May 13,
1997, through Geffen Records. Snot gained attention with its performance on the
1998 Ozzfest tour. Strait died in a car accident on December 11, 1998, leading
to the band's initial disbandment. Following the death of Strait, friends of the
