Snapcase was an American hardcore punk band from Buffalo, New York, originally formed as Solid State in 1989. The group underwent several lineup changes before settling on the name Snapcase in 1991. They signed with Victory Records and recorded their first single, "Comatose" (1992). Their debut full-length album, Lookinglasself, was released in 1993.
