Slank
Slank is one of the most iconic rock bands in Indonesian history, having won
multiple Indonesian Music Awards throughout a multi-decade career. Formed in
Jakarta in 1983, the band's original lineup featured teenaged musicians Bimbim,
Denny BDN, Bongky, Erwan, and Kiki. The roster had already changed considerably
by the time Slank released its debut album, Suit-Suit... He-He (Gadis Sexy), in
1990. Featuring a blues- and rock-influenced sound that stood in contrast to the
