SKOP
Skop is a German ska and reggae band from Elmshorn formed in 1999. Founded by
vocalist and songwriter Michael Ramm, a former saxophonist for the group The
Monroes, the ensemble consists of 11 members. The group’s musical style
incorporates elements of jazz and pop. The band released its debut studio album,
Scary, in 2000. Their recording history also featured the studio albums Take Off
(2005) and Ska 'n' Roll (2009). The latter records featured lyrics focused on
political and social themes, including the tracks “War Inna Babylon” and
