Aleix Vergés was a Spanish musician and DJ who was born as Aleix Vergés
Tramullas in Barcelona, Spain, in 1973. He achieved early professional
recognition in 1994 after performing at the Sala Nitsa and is famous for being a
pioneer of the electronic music scene in Catalonia and for his resident DJ sets
at clubs including The Kitchen in Dublin. Vergés studied piano, guitar, and bass
before adopting the pseudonym Sideral and becoming a resident DJ at Sala Nitsa
